LSU Assistant Director of Player Personnel Collin D'Angelo is transitioning to an Offensive Analyst role on Ed Orgeron's staff, the school announced Friday.

The Madisonville, LA native graduated from LSU in 2017 and began working with the team as a student in 2015 focusing on recruiting, player personnel, and the offense. D'Angelo spoke at the New Orleans QB Club in October of 2019 and talked about how he got started at LSU.

"I was just trying to get my hands on anything 'LSU Football,' staying in the building, putting in hours," D'Angelo said. "I really enjoyed my time as an undergrad and then as soon as I graduated I was asking Coach O, 'Hey coach, I don't really know how this process works. I don't know if I need to leave this building to come back but I want to be here. What can I do here? I don't care if I volunteer...' It wasn't about the money for me."

"He put the papers right in front of me and said we're not letting you go anywhere. He hired me full-time. I'm grateful to this day for Coach O giving me that opportunity."
