Former Wisconsin safety Mike Caputo, who played under defensive coordinator Dave Aranda for three seasons in Madison, will be joining LSU's staff as an assistant coach.

The Imperial, PA native was a three-year starter for the Badgers from 2013-2015 and recorded 244 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, and three interceptions over his four-year career at Wisconsin. He was named to the named All-Big Ten team in 2015.

Dude was great in Aranda's defense. Hope his knowledge translates to an effective coach.

I see Amanda is putting together his staff for when he takes over the program. CEO gets to live his dream job and make money, but our fan base runs him off after 3 years because his last name isn't pretty enough. Amanda steps in... everyone wins.

Get over it already. Coach O is here to stay. And it's Aranda, not Amanda.

He was injured literally three plays into the game when he was knocked silly trying to tackle Derrick Henry but yeah, technically you could say Wisconsin was in the game up until that point. Caputo is a smart, tough kid- I hope he succeeds at LSU.

Aranda could hire his grandma to coach DB's and we would be fine with it.
