LSU true freshman running back Nick Brossette suffered an ACL injury during the third quarter of the Ole Miss game on Nov. 21 and is awaiting surgery, according to coach Les Miles.

The injury happened when Brossette was on the field for kick coverage on special teams.

Nick, I wish you the best in a full recovery. As unfortunate as it is with your injury, you can now apply for a medical year and get one more year of eligibility.
