LSU true freshman running back Nick Brossette suffered an ACL injury during the third quarter of the Ole Miss game on Nov. 21 and is awaiting surgery, according to coach Les Miles.

The injury happened when Brossette was on the field for kick coverage on special teams.

Why is he waiting for surgery? The longer the wait, the longer the recovery time.
