LSU running back Leonard Fournette, who is currently listed at 6-1, 230-pounds on the official roster, is shedding a few pounds in the summer heat during practice, according to head coach Les Miles. Per The Advocate:

Fournette, at SEC media days, said he weighed 225 pounds. He weighed in at 230. Miles, on Friday, mentioned Fournette’s weight when asked about the running back, suggesting that the heat of preseason camp is helping the sophomore drop the pounds.

“I think he’s really kind of rounding into shape, if you will,” Miles said. “The heat’s good for him. It leans him up some.”
The talented sophomore from New Orleans set an LSU record for freshman rushing with 1,034 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2014. LSU fans should expect even bigger things from Fournette in 2015.

Ridiculous conclusion. That's all water weight, not fat loss. Heat can get you dehydrated very fast. It's not unusual to lose 5-10 lbs sweating in one workout.

He listed at 230 on Day 1 of camp when they all did heights & weights. With two weeks of camp in 100+ degree heat index, it's easy to believe he's back at 225.
