LSU running back Leonard Fournette ran for 150 yards and one touchdown in the Tigers 48-20 win over Western Kentucky this past Saturday. He now has 1352 yards and 15 touchdowns on the season and continues to be the clear frontrunner in the ESPN Experts' Heisman Poll after week 8.
quote:

Fournette's stranglehold on the top spot remained largely unchallenged after yet another 100-yard outing, but the next two weeks could (at least slightly) test his candidacy. LSU's bye week will give other candidates a chance to close the gap, and the Nov. 7 trip to face Alabama's fourth-ranked rushing defense could be telling as well.
Complete Poll:
Leonard Fournette RB LSU So. 50 points
Trevone Boykin QB TCU Sr. 38 points
Christian McCaffrey RB Stanford So. 17points
Corey Coleman WR Baylor Jr. 16 points
Ezekiel Elliott RB Ohio State Jr. 14 points
Derrick Henry RB Alabama Jr. 9 points
Dalvin Cook RB Florida State So. 5 points
Paxton Lynch QB Memphis Jr. 1 points
