It is believed that the loser between LSU and Alabama may stay in the hunt. Can the same be said for OSU or Penn State (who will play on Nov 23)?

They say that, but unless LSU beats Bama, they will be on the outside looking in. Bama is the only 1 loss SEC team that will get in. Yes, they due deserve to be #1, but the only (actual) reason LSU is #1 is because if LSU beats Bama, the justification for keeping them in the top 4 will be "Their only loss was to the #1 team in the country". If LSU loses to Bama, LSU will free fall to at least 8. Happens every year. We need to beat Bama to get in. Plain and simple!

Isn’t Kirk H. a graduate of Ohio St.? Not surprised he has OSU #1. I’m ok with it though.
