ESPN College Football analyst Kirk Herbstreit took to Twitter Monday night to list his top five performance and top five players from week 7.

Herbstreit listed LSU at No. 1 in his top performances list after the Tigers dominated No. 2 Georgia 36-16 this past Saturday.

The ESPN analyst also pegged LSU's "Entire Defense" at No. 4 in his list of top players as the Tigers D shut out the Bulldogs in the first half and only gave up 275 total yards 16 points in the game. LSU also had two interceptions and one fumble recovery on defense.

He's so up and down and all over the place. He hated us in the beginning. Then he loved us when we beat Miami and Auburn. As soon as we lost the florida we weren't any good. Now all of a sudden we are awesome

He's not like a bandwagon fan that didn't care about the team unless they are doing well. He's an analyst that had some major concerns early in the season and now he's super impressed by how well they have performed and how good they are, just like about 99% of the other college football analysts. I'm glad he is giving credit where it is due. This LSU team has earned his respect which is far more important than respect that is given to unproven teams during preseason.
