LSU head coach Ed Orgeron announced Thursday that JUCO linebacker signee may not be eligible to play this season.

Fonua is from Salt Lake City, UT and played at Mesa Junior College in Mesa, AZ.

He was allowed to report so obviously he can practice but maybe can’t play. O seemed confident as of yday or say before that he was in But Starks wasn’t ready. Something has come up that hopefully can be fixed soon.
