Moore, a senior from Ruston, Louisiana, currently maintains a perfect 4.0 grade point average in architecture where he’s on pace to become the first LSU football player to graduate with a degree in that curriculum in over 25 years.

Moore becomes the first LSU player to earn first team Academic All-America status since Rudy Niswanger earned the award in 2005.

“I’m honored to be named to this prestigious to team,” Moore said. “It’s a culmination of a lot of hard work on and off the field. This type of recognition wouldn’t be possible without the support of a great academic center staff and the professors and staff in the school of architecture.

“I’m happy to represent LSU with this honor as it validates hard work in pursuing a great degree along with being part of such a successful football program.”
