LSU star quarterback Jayden Daniels was named SEC Player of the Week for his record-setting performance in the 52-35 win over Florida on Saturday night. Per SEC Sports:

-Set the SEC record for total offense, racking up 606 total yards in the 52-35 win over Florida ... Became first player in FBS history to pass for 350 yards and rush for 200 yards in the same game as he totaled 372 yards through the air and 234 on the ground.

-Accounted for 5 TDs - 3 passing and 2 rushing ... Scored on runs of 85 and 51 yards ... Completed 17-of-26 passes with no interceptions and averaged 21.9 yards per completion ... The 85-yard run was the longest by a quarterback in school history.

-Threw TD passes of 6, 37 and 7 yards ... Averaged 19.5 yards per carry ... As a unit, LSU piled up 701 total yards - the third-highest total in school history and the most-ever given up by a Florida defense.

-LSU had 300 rushing yards and 300 passing yards for the fifth time in school history and only the second time in an SEC game (other came vs. Mississippi State in 1967).

-Became first player in FBS history to pass for 12,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards in a career.

JD should be the first name out of every Heisman voters mouth, why isn't it? Even in the 3 loses he was excellent. I think LSU should be pusing harder for much more exposure and more attention. And don't pull him early when he puts the game out of reach, it's a numbers game, so let him put up ridiculous numbers so they have no choice but to take notice.

Agreed. Had he not been targeted at bama he wouldve led to 35+ lsu pts at bama.
