The No. 25 LSU Tigers (2-1) return to action vs. Syracuse (2-1) on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is set for 6:05 pm CT on ESPN2. Per LSUSports.net:

On Saturday night, Syracuse will enter Tiger Stadium for the first time as the schools have only met on three other occasions – 1965 Sugar Bowl (LSU won 13-10); 1989 Hall of Fame Bowl (Syracuse won 23-10) and 2015 at the Carrier Dome (LSU won 34-24).

LSU goes into the game riding a 48-game winning streak against non-conference opponents in Tiger Stadium. LSU hasn’t lost a home non-conference game since dropping a 13-10 decision to UAB in 2000.

LSU can beat teams like Syracuse and the other second-rate teams they play until the cows come home. They proved they can't compete with SEC teams last week.

The defense is weak... As always a weak QB on offense and no Oline......Yeah thats gonna win some games......LSU is back to the 70's and 80's in Football......Better get a helmet its gonna be a bumpy ride.

This game is such a lose lose situation. Hooray we beat Syracuse (if we win)! This will 100% help us forget we got arse raped by Mississippi state by 30 points last week!

Just saw where NC State beat Florida State. The Seminoles are now 0-2! I wonder if their fans are ready to fire Jimbo? Of course not. This is why ludicrous comments should be reserved until the season is over. It's way too early to judge.

They didn't lose by 30 points in any of their loses and they lost their starting QB. We must stop making excuses for mediocrity if we ever want to be a CHAMPIONSHIP contender.
