There has been a decent amount of chatter on social media this week about LSU possibly scheduling ACC teams like Clemson and Florida State for future dates.

Clemson website TigerIllustrated.com was reporting the possibility of a home-and-home series with LSU, while Florida State website TomahawkNation.com was reporting a possible neutral site game in Orlando that could be in the works for 2022.

However, sources at LSU remain rather quiet regarding future scheduling, according to The Advocate:
quote:

Verge Ausberry, LSU’s deputy athletic director who is in charge of football scheduling, declined to comment on the reports. He spoke broadly of the work going on now to fill out the Tigers’ non-conference slates well into the future.

“We’re talking to a lot of people,” Ausbery said. “But there’s nothing set right now. We’re looking at games through 2030.”

While I’d obviously rather big matchups at home, I’d take a Clemson / FSU neutral site over a Syracuse home and home. Most good programs don’t want to play in Death Valley. Glad we at least got a deal with Texas so far.

Just look at the buzz this Miami game is creating, and how it could set us up for a run. Would you rather a home and home with a wake forest caliber program if the big dogs refused?

Not going anywhere but Tiger Stadium, These Kickoff "classics" are not good for Tiger Stadium Lore or HOME Scheduling... Quit cheating your Fans outta money with 3 rent-a-wins a year.

What a dumb idea. LSU plays in the toughest conference (SEC West) in college football and they want to make it harder?

That right eye looks like acute conjunctivitis (pink eye). He needs antibiotic drops.
