Steve Palazzolo with Pro Football Focus unveiled his list of Top 101 players in college football for the 2016 campaign and included four players from LSU.

They are LSU running back Leonard Fournnete, defensive end Arden Key, defensive tackle Davon Godchaux, and safety Jamal Adams.

Fournette came in at No. 3 behind Stanford's Christian McCaffrey, and Texas A&M's Myles Garrett.

As a runner, Fournette is excellent at “getting skinny” and working through tight spaces and he did a fantastic job of stringing multiple moves together last season, allowing for a number of big runs. If Fournette can improve his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, he can become even more dangerous, but he is already a Heisman favorite for the coming season.
Sophomore defensive end Arden Key landed at No. 40:

The best freshman edge rusher in the nation a year ago, Key’s +21.2 pass rush grade ranked 29th in the nation and only Myles Garrett has posted a better mark among freshmen in our two years of grading. Key continued to improve as the year progressed, capping his season with 21 pressures over his last two games against Texas A&M and Texas Tech. Key was also strong against the run and he should rank among the nation’s best edge rushers in 2016.
LSU junior tackle Davon Godchaux was ranked No. 66:
quote:

It was a bumpy debut for Godchaux who struggled as a true freshman in 2014, and while he was still lacking the running game last season (-2.8), he turned it on as a pass rusher. His +23.0 grade was the best among returning interior defensive linemen as he picked up six sacks, six QB hits, and 30 hurries on 351 rushes.
Rounding things out for the Tigers was safety Jamal Adams at No. 96:
quote:

There’s some boom or bust to Adams’ game, but his overall body of work has lived up to his recruiting hype in his two years at LSU. He’s graded positively against the run, in coverage, and as a blitzer, and he’s made plays in the passing game as he knocked down six passes last year (tied for fifth among returning safeties) to go with four interceptions.
Some Tigers noticeably missing from the list were linebacker Kendell Beckwith, cornerback Tre’Davious White, offensive lineman Ethan Pocic, as well as a few others.

I dont think LF7's ability to catch the ball out of the backfield is a problem, just doesnt get enough opportunities. Need to incorporate more of this, with him and Guice both on the field. Will be nasty.

Brandon Harris worst throw is to the RB's. He has no touch on his short to intermediate passes. Not LF7 fault

That's because LSUs offense isn't designed for check downs. In LSUs offense the RB is usually blocking on pass plays. Rarely does the RB roll out into the flat. Not LF7s fault, nor is it Brandon Harris' fault. It just the system LSU runs...

It's crazy that Beckwith not on this list. He was the first guy I thought of when I saw what LSU players made the list. The guy will be one of the top 5 linebackers in next year's draft. It's even crazier that White didn't make this list. He's will be the top corner in next year's draft.
