Four-star defensive end Donell Harris from Miami, FL announced his top five schools on Wednesday and included LSU in the group along with Alabama, Auburn, Georiga and Texas A&M.

Harris was originally a class of 2021 recruit and was committed to Miami but reopened his recruitment last month and announced that he was reclassifying to the 2020 class.

I’m very surprised the Miami Hurricanes aren’t in his top five. If Miami ever wants to get back to their glory days they must hold the fort down recruiting Dade County.

I’m an idiot, I just saw he was a soft verbal to Miami before opening up his recruitment.

How generous of him to include an elite defense on his list. I wish we could get to where LSU releases these things with the "LSU is considering a 4 star WDE." Might teach these kids something about commitment if they see a program that is committed to them the entire time but has final say.
