Former LSU defensive tackle Davon Godchaux signed a two-year extension with the New England Patriots worth $20.8 million.

$17.85 million is fully guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Godchaux, a native of Plaquemine, La., played for LSU from 2014-2016 and was selected by the Miami Dolphins in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. He was traded to the Patriots last March.

I appreciate everything he did at LSU. Feel like we never did get to see the best of what he had to offer
