Former LSU outside linebacker Ray Thornton will be transferring to Texas to finish his college career, according to multiple sources.

Thornton, a senior from Killeen, Texas, entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal last week. The former four-star prospect played in nine games this past season, recording five total tackles, two sacks, and two tackles for loss.
