ESPN released Week 1 Power Rankings on Tuesday and pegged LSU just outside of the top 10 at No. 11 following Sunday's 33-17 win over No. 8 Miami.

Here's what they had to say about the Tigers:

11. LSU

Week 1 result: Defeated Miami 33-17
What's next: vs. Southeastern Louisiana (Saturday, 7 p.m. ET, ESPN2)

The Tigers paid defensive coordinator Dave Aranda $2.5 million per year to keep him from going to Texas A&M, and his defense already is paying dividends. The Tigers looked better on offense, but their defense is still going to have to win games.
ESPN put Miami down at No. 25 after week 1.

ESPN blow. All they're doing is constructing their rankings by who they are scheduling to have on TV. They probably don't have Miami for another few months so they can drop them all the way to 25. When they have them back on the schedule they will get them back in the top 15 at least. Geaux Tigers!

Guess not, I was joking anyway. Forgot CBS picked it awhile back.

I think we have a better chance in Auburn with a day game
