LSU junior running back Derrius Guice will be "eased" back into practice this week as he recovers from an injury, according to head coach Ed Orgeron.

Guice reportedly suffered an injury during LSU's last scrimmage and was not at practice last week. He also had his wisdom teeth removed at some point last week.

Orgeron added that Guice will likely play vs. BYU but that he is not 100 percent sure.

Last year Fournette was hurt and Guice stepped up. This year, if Guice can't go, maybe Williams or Edwards-Helaire ir Brossette will seize the opportunity. Good options to have.

I had a feeling this was more than just the wisdom teeth. He said he sustained a injury in the scrimmage last weeks.

I believe so. O wouldn't even acknowledge he needed teeth removed.
