by Staff Reporter
September 30, 20202 Comments

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports
LSU star cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. practiced on Tuesday in a gold "non-contact" jersey and will likely play vs. Vanderbilt on Saturday, according to head coach Ed Orgeron.
Stinley Jr. was hospitalized over the weekend with an unknown, non-COVID illness and was forced to miss the season opener vs. Mississippi State.
Orgeron said they don't know what the illness was and they likely wouldn't release any information on it even if they did.
