Top assistant for what?? I don't get it. We loss to troy and moo state. If I coached at Alabama or any big name school and got beat by a jv squad in college football and have 3 losses. Would I be up for the award as well or is he well liked. He is definitely a good coach, definitely worth keeping but the broyles award? Don't get what he accomplished in 2017 season to be mentioned for that

Pay the man however much he wants. He is the best coach to ever come through LSU.

"He is the best coach to ever come through LSU." He's a great coach, but the best ever? Wow.

Happy for him but sad because I know that it's just a matter of time before the head coaching jobs come calling,he would be hard to replace ... time to open the check book again Joe
