New LSU linebacker coach Blake Baker has reportedly signed a two-year deal that will pay him $500,000 in his first year and $550,000 in his second, per his term sheet.

Baker comes to Baton Rouge after spending the last two seasons as Miami's defensive coordinator and linebacker coach.

New defensive line coach Andre Carter has signed a two-year deal as well. He will make $200,000 in his first season and $450,000 in his second year.

Carter joins LSU's staff after spending the last two seasons as the New York Jets defensive line coach.

These new hires on offense and defense is part of Coach O’s culture change. That is a good thing for LSU’s football team. Establishing mutual respect between players and coaches will go a long way. LSU football will be good this year ... do not sleep on them. Geaux Tigers!
