During an interview on ESPN Baton Rouge Radio Friday, LSU senior defensive lineman Christian LaCouture told Matt Moscona that he is "50/50" on returning to the team next season.

LaCouture suffered a season-ending ACL injury during fall camp in August and participated in senior day ceremonies before the Florida game because he did not expect to seek a redshirt.

Pure definition of "average", would add quality depth though.

He needs to come back, plain and simple. I don't think it's even debatable. JMO

If he enter the draft this year, there is literally 0 chance that he will be drafted after having a mediocre Junior year and suffering a season ending injury. I hope, for his own sake, that he comes back to raise his stock.

It could be a health risk. It could establish some draft stock. But oh boy if he came back, we all know Aranda will know how to use him.

Jordy said on the radio yesterday he's not coming back. Said he talked to him at the gym

Well if Jordy said.... You obviously didn't hear his interview with matt

Would probably not be wise to risk further injury for one season. However, I don't think his draft grade was very high last year, so coming back to up his stock may be wise. I would love to see him back. He adds experience, leadership and depth to the d-line. Best of luck either way!

50/50 as if he comes back for his Sr. year or declares for the NFL draft. Lac would be a huge get for us to add depth to the DL. Hope to see him back in the purple and gold!

I mean don't get me wrong, I wish him the best but will he even be drafted after having surgery and missing his "senior" year? I don't remember him being a top pick when he played

Poncho villa...if you remember after his junior year his draft card came back saying stay in school. I am sure his card came back the same after missing a year due to injury. I really like Lac and his attitude. I would always welcome back a guy with this type of experience and leadership. Either way, I wish him nothing but success.

50/50 as in he doesn't want to play football anymore? I'm confused
