During his post-practice press conference on Thursday, head coach Brian Kelly was asked about LSU's rushing attack and building on last week's performance.

Kelly emphasized that LSU needs to be patient in the running game and not abandon it.

When asked if they were ready to name the no. 1 running back, Kelly listed all of LSU's running backs that said they would continue to go with "the guy that is feeling it..."
quote:

"The guy that is seeing it and ripping off some big plays... we'll keep feeding that guy," Kelly said.

"We have excellent running backs, but we can't get all of them on the field. It's a competitive situation, and our guys know that. I feel like we can feature multiple back and we will on Saturday."

Did y'all see the Eagles run game last night? Wow. We also need to implement their QB sneak. Big strong QB/man surrounded by the biggest strongest guys on the team, and PUUUUSH.

Their stats showed last year when they ran this for a 1st down, they got it 9/10 times.

Just hand the damn rock to Diggs or Jackson and be done with it. Emery too if he wants to play

Gotta have insanely good blocking or a pass game to open up the run game. Problem is Jayden Daniels isn't a great passer.

Commit to the running game, because Lord knows that passing game is suspect.
