This week, LSU coach Brian Kelly spoke with reporters ahead of Saturday's matchup vs. Ole Miss.

Kelly was asked about his impressions of Lane Kiffin as a communicator "in how he communicates to the public about his team, opposing teams, and high-profile figures in College Football."

Kelly also spoke about his past rivaly with Kiffin that dates back to their days at USC and Notre Dame.
quote:

"You have to look at how many followers he has on Twitter," Kelly said jokingly. "He has a blue checkmark, doesn't he?"

"Lane has a positive outlook on the game and has been a central figure in college football. He can poke fun at himself and others, and I think he's good for college football.

"We like to have fun back-and-forth, but at the end of the day, we are both college football coaches who enjoy developing our teams."

"We played against each other when he was at USC, and I was at Notre Dame. When we got on the field, we are fierce competitors, and we want to win."

He could have sent some shots Lane's way. Like how Ole Miss is the perfect landing spot for Lane being a douchecanoe and all. Or how Ole Miss is the only place you can be the HC and in a Frat.
