During the SEC Coaches Teleconference on Wednesday, Brian Kelly was asked about cornerback JK Johnson, who suffered a significant leg injury during fall camp.
Kelly said that Johnson had successful surgery on his broken left leg and will not be able to return until December or later.
Johnson transferred to LSU from Ohio State this past offseason.
