Matt Miller with Bleacher Report updated his latest 2020 NFL Mock Draft this week and has four LSU players selected in the first round.

No. 2 - QB Joe Burrow - Miami Dolphins
quote:

LSU's Joe Burrow has been this season's biggest riser following a strong finish to the 2018 season. Burrow is a gunslinger who takes chances without turning the ball over and has the natural leadership and charisma everyone loves at the position. Burrow might not have the hype that Tua did heading into the season, but no quarterback is playing better than him right now.
No. 9 - S Grant Delpit - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
quote:

Delpit isn't a natural ball hawk, but his ability to erase the run game and play well in man coverage is perfect for the Jamal Adams role in Bowles' defense.
No. 20 - CB Kristian Fulton - Jacksonville Jaguars
quote:

Using one of the picks they acquired in the Jalen Ramsey trade, the Jaguars grab a rock-solid cornerback who is ready-made for the NFL. Fulton is physical, smart, technically sound and has the character coming out of LSU that pro teams are already raving about.
No. 26 - EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson - Indianapolis Colts
quote:

The draft is where general manager Chris Ballard is at his best. He'll be looking for instant-impact players who have high athleticism and good value positionally. That lines up perfectly for LSU edge-rusher K'Lavon Chaisson.

I hope Chiasson goes that high, but he will go around the third round if he leaves this year.

right now phillips is barely a 3rd rounder but he has time to improve his draft stock. if he doesnt improve he may want to come back for another year.

Yeah not a true analysis cause that's exactly what he is. He just doesn't bang people like Reid and Adams. I do wish we had a thumper out there that scared some guys over the middle. None better than my boy from Hahnville Laron Landry now that MF made you think.

Imo grant is much better at the los, flat, or backfield than a true back-end safety. Don't get me wrong he is a helluva ball player.

Burrow will make big money for a few years with little pressure at Miami. If he can just win half of his games first year it will be considered a sucsess. Plus the added perk of playing at a bikini clad vacation paradise. Imagine being stuck in Cleveland Ohio.

Chaisson doesn't even have 1 full year of college experience under his belt yet... he would benefit so much by returning imo

Chaisson would be a HUGE risk in the first round. He’s shown flashes and could be dominant but hasn’t proven he can stay on the field yet
