David Kenyon of Bleacher Report unveiled his College Football Preseason rankings on this week and pegged LSU at No. 7.

Heading into the spring, fans and analysts alike have created and debated expectations for the 2017 season. This ranking reflects an individual projection of how the regular season will shake out, not a prediction of preseason polls.

7. LSU
2016 Record: 8-4

Barring a complete letdown, LSU will end September at 5-0. The hot start will probably buy the Tigers a secure place in the Top 15 for the season as long as they avoid a bad loss.

Immediately after the favorable start, though, head coach Ed Orgeron's team faces Florida and Georgia in consecutive games. LSU, depending on those two results, can set itself on yet another collision course with Alabama or potentially spend the next six weeks hoping for some indirect help to overthrow the Tide.

The talent is there for a championship run. But starting with the quarterback, will the execution be, too?
Here is the complete Pre-Spring Preseason Top 25:

1. Alabama
2. Ohio State
3. Florida State
4. USC
5. Oklahoma State
6. Clemson
7. LSU
8. Oklahoma
9. Washington
10. Auburn
11. Michigan
12. Penn State
13. Louisville
14. Georgia
15. Wisconsin
16. Stanford
17. South Florida
18. TCU
19. Miami
20. West Virginia

This article along with the rankings is all kinds of stupid. The fact that they didn't even take the time to properly look at LSU's schedule lets me know that is was written by someone who is just collecting a check and doesn't really pay attention to College football. Much like a lot of the media guys at ESPN...

Wow! We get Georgia in a bonus game? Thanks Bleacher Report! If only they could pencil us in a win against Bama, we would be set!

Cannot wait to see a backfield of Guice and Fournette plus the new quarterback Tommy Hodson. Georgia doesnt stand a chance
