LSU's Frank Wilson Named SEC Recruiter Of The Year

LSU running back coach and recruiting coordinator Frank Wilson was named the SEC Recuriter of the Year by Scout.com.

Coach Wilson is known as 'Coach Frank' around the Boot State and he cleaned up this year in his home state. Wilson has a great reputation as a recruiter and he is well liked, respected on the road in the state of Louisiana. He was a big part of LSU's success in their home state this cycle and he played in a role in over 10 of their signees. He was the lead recruiter for guys like, Donte Jackson, Derrius Guice, and Tyron Johnson, all Scout 100 prospects. - Chad Simmons

Alabama's Mario Cristobal was named as Scout's 2015 National Recruiter of the Year but several coaches earned the honor of Conference Recruiter of the Year.

The other bad thing is there still is no decent QB for all his outstanding recruits to play around. It's like having a Lambo with no engine.

CFW is one of the most important people on this whole staff. He gets tons of well deserved recognition for being such a great recruiter but people forget how great of a running backs coach he is. The only bad thing about having somebody on staff as great as Coach Frank is that he is eventually going to get an offer he can't refuse.

He is the highest paid non ccoordinator and makes more than MOST coordinators. He males 650,000 a year.

We have figured out how to keep him. I believe Coach Frank is the highest paid coach in the country who isn't a coordinator or head coach. Heck he probably makes more than some coordinators.
