The LSU coaching staff extended an offer to talented running back T.J. Pledger this week.

The four-star prospect from West Hills, CA will play his senior season at IMG Academy in Florida.


Pledger is rated the No. 2 all-purpose running back in the country for the class of 2018, according to 247Sports.

Agree with all comments! I don't think there is a limit on offers. Half of these kids change their minds several times before signing, so why not offer more than you need?

We could possibly screw ourselves if we do that. Once many of them start committing, I'm sure we would be forced to rescind offers. We simply can't offer more scholarships than we have.
