JUCO wide receiver Stephen Guidry, who was supposed to sign with LSU this past February, has de-committed from the Tigers.

He sent out the following tweet to announce his de-commitment with the location tag of Starkville, MS on Saturday night:

This is the second time that the Morganza, LA native has de-committed from LSU. Per SECCountry.com:
quote:

The 6-foot-4, 190-pounder originally from Louisiana announced his de-commitment after not signing his letter of intent on National Signing Day. Guidry was not academically qualified to enroll at LSU last February and postponed enrollment until December.

Those plans have since changed.

The former Livonia (La.) High School standout has instead reopened his recruitment and is back on the market for interested programs. Mississippi State and Arizona State were the two notable schools showing a lot of interest in Guidry before LSU re-offered the wide receiver in December of 2016.
Guidry was the No. 1 ranked JUCO wide receiver for the class of 2017.

Don't need this guy! So tired of his back and forth nonsense. I have no doubt there are plenty of kids with superior talent, and can make the grades, that want to be Tigers. Let this guy continue his JUCO career, become an undrafted free agent and eventually end up bagging groceries at Piggly Wiggly thinking about what could have been.

I got ppl that know this kid & his dad/uncles were athletes that had potential but did jack sh_t. They were nuts and it seems to have rubbed off on this kid. Sorry just the truth.

The little I've read on this kid tells me he's immature, selfish, and is a prime candidate to be a burn out once he hits the next level because he doesn't think he'll have to bust his arse to achieve greatness. Good riddance.

I think we're all in agreement. This guy will probably never make the grades to play anyway. And regardless, we have plenty of other talent that is being recruited at receiver. We don't need wishy washy self promoters. Send him on down the road. Good luck to you Stephen. With the attitude you've displayed, I think you're gonna need it!

The kid can't even put a proper sentence together. Raw talent gets your foot in the door, but with an IQ of 70, your future is hinging on your ability to catch a football. Good luck and good riddance
