It's safe to say that LSU head Ed Orgeron was pretty excited when he received a verbal commitment from 2019 four-star running back Tyrion Davis on Monday.

Davis, who was on campus Monday with his family, shared Orgeron reaction with Ross Dellenger.

No one is or could be more passionate about LSU and the state of Louisiana than Coach O. That had to weigh in on the hiring process and is something that can't be measured. And it's gonna pay off in 2017 and beyond

Absolutely. The kids love it. Just like family. This is what makes O great at recruiting. Pete Carroll obviously passed some of this down to O, as he is a real enthusiastic coach as well. Keep it going and the top recruits will keep coming. The Tide is turning! Pun intended!

You could not ask for a more passionate and emotional HFBC who loves where he is. You will NEVER hear CEO talk about leaving LSU for another HC pos. Hope they drop the hammer this season and play great FB. GT!
