Four-Star TE Mac Markway Schedules Upcoming Visit To LSU

Four-star tight end Mac Markway from St. Louis, Missouri will be visiting LSU on Friday, March 11, he announced on Twitter.

Markway also plans to visit Ohio State, Miami, and Iowa.

The 6-4, 250-pound prospect from DeSmet HS is rated the No. 5 tight end in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247 Sports.

His trip to Baton Rouge in March will allow him to meet the new LSU coaching staff after being offered by the previous staff in March of 2020 after the National Championship season. New LSU cornerback coach Robert Steeples was the head coach at Markway's DeSmet High School from 2016-2019.

This will be his second trip to LSU, as he previously visited last June when Ed Orgeron was coach.
