LSU coach Johnny Jones addressed the media on Thursday and said that freshman forward Ben Simmons has been playing with finger injury on his shooting hand. Per ESPN:
quote:

"It happened a couple of games ago," Jones said during his press availability. He later said he didn't know if the injury happened late against South Carolina a week ago or against Texas A&M on Saturday.
It is unclear what finger Simmons is having issues with but the injury is not believed to be serious.

I was at the game Wednesday and I actually did notice he had a finger wrapped up in his left hand. Figured he had just jammed it or something though

basketball players jam/hurt/dislocate fingers sometimes. It happens. Sure it hurts, but players play through it. No excuse.
