LSU To Face Texas Tech in Annual Big 12 Challenge

The annual SEC/Big 12 Challenge matchup's were announced Tuesday and LSU will travel to Lubbock to face Texas Tech on Saturday, January 28th 2017. Per LSUSports.net:

The 10 games will all be played as they were last year all on the same Saturday, this time Jan. 28, 2017. Seven of the 10 games will be televised on ESPN or ESPN2 with the remainder on ESPNU. All 10 games will also be available via WatchESPN.

LSU at Texas Tech

Baylor at Ole Miss
Kansas at Kentucky
Texas A&M at West Virginia
Florida at Oklahoma
Iowa State at Vanderbilt
Kansas State at Tennessee
Arkansas at Oklahoma State
Auburn at TCU

LSU is appearing in the event for the third straight year, having won at nationally-ranked West Virginia in Dec. 2014 and losing in nationally-ranked Oklahoma in January of this year.

LSU has a 3-3 all-time record against Texas Tech. The Tigers recently played a home-and-home series against the Red Raiders in 2013 and then again in 2014 with LSU winning both games.
