CBSSports.com showed the LSU Basketball team a lot of love in this article about SEC hoops this season:
quote:

Teams on track to make the Field of 68: Kentucky, Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina.

Still gotta prove it: At 11-2, it's feeling like LSU should be in store for a good winter finish and the team's first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2009. But LSU's gone 9-9 the past two seasons under Johnny Jones. It's not a believe-it-when-I'll-see-it, but still, the Bayou Bengals are good enough to be No. 2. in this conference. Will we see that over the next seven weeks?

Mark your calendar for these three must-see games:
Auburn at Tennessee (Jan. 31)
Kentucky at Florida (Feb. 7)
Kentucky at LSU (Feb. 10)

How we're ranking the teams going forward:
1. Kentucky: Well, that was easy.

2. LSU: Thinking the Tigers, who have two of the top five scorers in the league in Martin and Jordan Mickey, will get that home win over Kentucky in February. Also believe this is the start of a big era for LSU, which is bringing in the No. 1 prospect in the country (Ben Simmons) and a top-20 kid in Antonio Blakeney next season. Welcome back, Tigers.
