College Basketball Bubble Watch

Eamonn Brennan with ESPN.com included LSU (18-7, 7-5) in his latest College Basketball Bubble Watch article:

LSU [18-7 (7-5), RPI: 50, SOS: 102] LSU's near-upset of Kentucky last week might have officially kicked off the "Panda Watch!" portion of the coverage of UK's quest to finish the season unbeaten, but over here in bubble land, it was merely a major disappointment. Forget the historical implications of such a win: How often do you, as one of the bubbliest teams in the country, get the No. 1-ranked team down a bucket in the closing minutes in your own building? And how must it feel to let that opportunity slip away? The Tigers deserve credit for not letting that bad mojo carry over. Instead, they manhandled Tennessee in Knoxville 73-55 on Saturday. Joe Lunardi had Johnny Jones' team among his last four byes in his latest projections -- five spots above the cut line. Just below them? Texas A&M, where LSU plays Tuesday night.
