Both D1 Baseball and Baseball America released updated NCAA Tournament Bracket projections on Friday.

D1 Baseball has LSU hosting the Baton Rouge regional as the No. 5 overall seed, matching up with the Clemson, S.C. regional.

Baton Rouge Regional:
1. LSU (5)
2. Dallas Baptist*
3. Xavier
4. Wright State*

Clemson Regional:
1. Clemson (12)
2. Alabama
3. Connecticut
4. Bryant*

Baseball America also has the Tigers as the No. 5 seed, paired with the Corvallis (Oregon State) regional.

Baton Rouge Regional:
1. LSU (5)
2. Louisville
3. Arizona State
4. Kent State*

Corvallis Regional:
1. Oregon State (12)
2. UC Irvine*
3. Cincinnati
4. Nevada*

I would love for Cal-Irvine to make it back to a BR Super Regional. I don't know if I would expect the same result, but just for old times sake. Hard to think that was 16 years ago.

I’d be good with either of these. Alabama could win that Clemson regional.

What do I know, but I just feel like LSU will end up being the #3 seed. But to me, just being A NATIONAL SEED is what matters. Host an SR, baby!

If they win the SEC tournament, why couldnt they be a #1 seed? I dont think thats too far out there.

No way we should be a 5 seed! Especially with Tx and R kansas bowing out after 1 game in SEC Tourney!
