LSU junior outfielder Mark Laird is expected to play against Houston on Friday according to head coach Paul Mainieri.
Laird missed Wednesday's game against Grambling after suffering an injury against Stephen F Austin on Tuesday.
The Tigers travel to Houston, TX this weekend for the Houston College Classic and will play Houston on Friday (7pm), Baylor on Saturday (3:30pm), and Nebraska on Sunday (11am).
