LSU senior second baseman Cole Freeman was named Co-SEC Player of the Week on Monday. He shared the honor with Missouri's Robbie Glendinning. Per SECSports.com:

-LSU's Cole Freeman hit .500 (8-for-16) in four games last week with seven runs scored, two doubles, two RBI, one stolen base and a .556 on-base percentage.

-He hit .545 (6-for-11) in LSU's three-game sweep of Wichita State with two doubles, two RBI and seven runs.

-Freeman, who has a current 10-game hit streak, increased his batting average for the season to a remarkable .482 (27-for-56), which leads the SEC.
