LSU's Alex Lange Named SEC Freshman Of The Week

LSU's Alex Lange was named SEC Freshman of the Week on Monday for his performance against Missouri on Saturday. Per SECSports.com:
quote:This is the third time this season that Lange has been named SEC Freshman of the Week.
Freshman of the Week: Alex Lange, LSU
• Allowed just one run on two hits in seven innings on Saturday, as LSU posted an 11-4 win against No. 21 Missouri.
• Limited Missouri to two walks and posted eight strikeouts.
• Improved to 9-0 on the year and lowered his cumulative ERA to 2.13 with 82 strikeouts in 76 innings.
• Last week was named to the 30-man watch list for the 2015 Golden Spikes Award.
