Per LSUSports.net: METAIRIE, La.— Tenth-ranked LSU defeated the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin Cajuns, 8-5, in the 13th Wally Pontiff Jr. Foundation Classic in front of more than 10,000 Tuesday evening at Zephyr Field.

Still wanting to be something they aren't. I swear I don't understand how anyone can grow up a true fan of Sunbelt level programs. Boy, just the anticipation of those matchups with Arkansas State, Florida Atlantic,
etc. is fantastic.
