No. 8 seed LSU (34-24) will play No. 5 seed South Carolina (33-23( on Thursday around 1 p.m. CT in an elimination game in the third round of the SEC Tournament.
Caleb Gilbert will start on the mound for the Tigers.
The game will be played 30 minutes after the conclusion of Georgia vs. Ole Miss game which is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. CT.
The Gamecocks swept LSU in Columbia during the regular season back in late April.
