LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE, La.— LSU centerfielder Andrew Stevenson scored LSU’s lone run of the evening on his solo home run to right field in the bottom of the eighth inning as top-ranked LSU’s seven-game win streak was snapped in Saturday night’s 6-1 loss to Auburn in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

Auburn sophomore right-hander Keegan Thompson (7-2) earned the win after pitching a complete game, giving up one earned run on six hits, one walk and three strikeouts.

Game 3 of the series vs Auburn starts at 1pm on Sunday. The Tigers are now 30-6, 9-5 in the SEC.
