Per LSUSports.net: STARKVILLE, Miss. – No. 12 LSU baseball posted a 10-5 win against second-ranked Mississippi State to even the series Friday night in Dudy Noble Field.

Senior right fielder Antoine Duplantis became the sixth player in LSU history and the 25th member of the SEC to record 300 hits in a career. He opened the game in his 933rd career at-bat with a single up the middle to record the career hit, joining Eddy Furniss, Blake Dean, Jason Williams, Todd Walker and Blair Barbier.
