Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE, La. – Top-ranked LSU scored six runs in the first inning for the second straight game as the Tigers defeated Lamar, 11-2, Wednesday evening at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
The Tigers improved to 32-6 after a strong start on both offense and defense. Lamar dropped to 17-19 on the year.
