Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE— The LSU baseball team had runners on the corners with one out in the bottom of the ninth, trailing Arkansas, 5-4, but the Tigers were unable to capitalize and dropped Game 1 of the series against the Razorbacks Friday night at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

Arkansas improves to 33-13 on the season and 14-8 in Southeastern Conference action while LSU falls to 26-20 overall and 10-12 in league play.
