Per LSUSports.net: BATON ROUGE, La. – Freshman pitcher Alex Lange fired five scoreless innings and earned his first career win in second-ranked LSU’s 8-5 victory over Kansas Saturday afternoon at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman field.
Lange (1-0) only allowed two hits and struck out seven batters in his five-inning debut as LSU improved to 2-0 and Kansas dropped to 0-2 on the season.
