Per LSUSports.net: LEXINGTON, Ky. – LSU junior right-hander Landon Marceaux worked a season-high 7.1 innings Friday night, and the Tigers blasted three homers in a 15-2 win over Kentucky at Kentucky Proud Park.

LSU improved to 19-11 overall, 2-8 in the SEC, while Kentucky dropped to 19-8 overall and 5-5 in conference play.

The teams meet in Game 2 of the series at 5:30 p.m. CT Saturday – the game will be streamed on SEC Network +, and it may be heard on affiliates of the LSU Sports Radio Network.

A series win or sweep would be epic, considering the past few weekends. Youth can only get better if always improving. That looked like LSU baseball
