Olympic Swimmer Michael Phelps Arrested For DUI

ESPN is reporting that Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps was arrested on a DUI charge early Tuesday morning in Maryland.

Phelps also was charged with excessive speeding and crossing double-lane lines, according to reports.
The 29-year-old Phelps was arrested at approximately 1:40 a.m. after being clocked driving 84 mph inside the Fort McHenry Tunnel in Baltimore, the Maryland Transportation Authority police confirmed to multiple media outlets.
It marks the second drunk-driving arrest for Phelps, who also pleaded guilty to driving while impaired in 2004, when he was 19.
