On Friday, the International Association of Athletics Federations upheld its ruling that Russia’s entire track and field team will be banned from competing in the 2016 Summer Olympics because of a state-sponsored doping program. The IAAF also claims Russian officials knew about and covered up the doping and in some cases assisted it. Russian president Vladimir Putin is not happy about this at all...

Kind of misleading intro paragraph there, Leo. You made it almost seem like Putin is speaking as the "Ministry of Sport". I wonder what his official statement is.

The "Ministry of Sport" isn't, I don't know how to say it, a piece of what it is to be the Russian President, is it? After rereading it I don't think so.
